Almost there

I went to my doctor's appointment this morning and am measuring about 2 weeks ahead of schedule so we have moved my induction date up to next Wed ... February 25 ... my sister Tasha's birthday! How fun is that?!

Stanford is not too keen on inducing (he believes in doing most things natural) but I'm so scared I'm going to have a gigantic baby that I'd rather set a time and date for baby to come. And since my doctor is ok with it, I'm ok with it. And, according to my doctor my due date is Feb. 27th and not March 4th like I was told in the very beginning. So, I'm really not having this baby all that early.

I'm also happy about the fact that tomorrow will be my last day of work and not next Friday! Yeah for baby Maggie joining our family.

  1. Wow. That is great! An not-too-early end is always nice. The baby will be fine. I can't wait to see the pics! Good luck with everything!

  2. YEAH!!! I am so so excited for you too and I LOVE that she might have the same birthday as me :) Just the more reason to spoil her. Love it! And don't worry Stanford. I was induced with both Tanner and Brayden and if you ask me, it is WAY better than going naturally. Going naturally I was in pain a lot longer without my epidural. I hope Sara's induction goes just as good as my first two. :) I will be praying for you guys. I cannot wait for Maggie to come.

  3. I am so excited for you Sara. I will certainly keep you in my thoughts on that day, what fun! Olivia and my Nephew share a birthday and even that was super fun. I can only imagine your anticipation. Hang in there, I know that last little bit it feels as though you will explode with excitement!

  4. Sara - We are supposed to go the cannery on February 25th. Can't you plan things a little better....I mean really...COME ON!

Just Kidding....If Stanford wants to do things the natural way, I have first hand experience that Castor Oil works great for inducing labor. It is really NASTY, but it does the trick....no drugs involved!

  5. Sara! That is so exciting. I am jealous that you actually have a date set. I'm going crazy over here not knowing exactly when baby comes. Plus, trying to plan for my family to come visit and buy their plane ticket has been a headache. We are SO excited for you guys....AAHHHHH next Wednesday is so close! Good luck.

  8. Yay for induction. I am still a fan of it. But that's just me. It's not even necessarily easier, but I still like it better. Tell Stanford when he gives labor, he can make the decision. ;) Heehee. I wish you all the best and can't wait to see some sweet baby pics!
