Wild Animal Park

Birds, birds, birds... Maggie enjoyed pushing her stroller around with Mom.

Tigers and Lions and Rhinos... oh my!

The wild life mixture of animals... not quite the same cage.

Finally I got a good look at a Okapi, the Zebra-like giraffe.

Headstone

I am pretty excited to finish Mom and Dad's headstone design. It went into production this week. It sits six inches above the ground and it will have two holes for flowers. I hope everyone's names are right and that my dates are correct because it can't exactly be erased. The actual number of grandchildren will be engraved later, unless you can give me an exact count.

Farewell Hebdon's

Farewell Vegas and welcome to St. Louis. Since we have lived here we have been rubbing shoulders with the Hebdon family. It is hard to articulate the impact of they had on our family. When I think of them, I think of food storage because they had so much and I think of garage sales because they were always finding great deals. They are deeply committed to their faith and family, which was always a wonderful reminder that we could be better and do better at both. We will miss them. Thankfully we gathered for one last hurrah!

Priority Mail

We love it when we get packages, especially when they are from Grandma Torgerson because we already know what we are getting. Sara's co-workers love it too because we always share. They come in spring and if the harvest is good throughout the summer. We know we can always just go to the grocery store but these are so much better and so delicious.

Each wrapped and packed snug. It's almost like Christmas.

A little salt and pepper and we are in business.

Weekend with Raymond

Maggie's little cousin Raymond is all smiles. I thought I would filter the events surrounding him, since I have so very few images of the little guy. I honestly wish I could you could see all his faces.

Raymond at the center of attention!

Raymond the observer and Maggie the explorer.

Fishing for images while the parents aren't watching.

No problems with the babysitters.

Time to take those shoes off.

Raymond knows his noes.

Raymond has a great idea for the last photo.
